About Us

     Iona Rose Studio LLC was formally started during the summer of 2015 so that Andrea Nissen could share her love of Sewing and Fiber arts with her community. Through the creative process, families are strengthened, and homes made beautiful.  Whether its American made cotton or Alpaca fleece from a local farm, natural fibers are a way to build communities.
     The studio name is derived from the family members who fostered a passion for creating quality products by hand. A special thanks to the grandmothers who introduced a little girl to the world of fabric and a sister who served as a mannequin and who was the original student.
     Iona Rose Studio LLC is a mobile sewing and fiber arts studio that offers courses for after school programs, family farm events and community programs. The studio also offers private and small group lessons at the teaching studio near Holden, MO.
